About:
release date: 12.18.2008
Several months ago Greg from Community Records asked me if maybe I would like to release a “best of” album for his label. His idea fit quite well an idea I had been kicking around for a while, which was to release a “best of” album. Keasbey Nights is that album, and I’m very happy that it’s out on my second-choice label (Shady/Aftermath never got back to me). Most of these songs were recorded and released before the start of 2007, and any songs here that were recorded since are random misfits that never made it onto my half-dozen or so releases in that time period. These are fan favorites and personal favorites, and even a few where we’re all in agreement. The album is entitled Keasbey Nights because that was the most taboo name I could think of that was ska-related. If you don’t find the idea that my sloppy recordings have the same title as an alleged ska-punk masterpiece funny, I apologize, because I think it’s hilarious. If you’re interested in song lyrics and a description of this album that’s quite possibly more words than every college assignment I ever did combined, you can click right here!
