INFORMANT – NOTHING EVER CHANGES

About:

release date: 07.30.2009

Rising from the ashes of the Texas punk and ska outfit Detonate, Informant emerges with a progressive sound that pushes the punk and ska format even further into rarely explored musical territories. Using unique time signatures, melodic horn lines, dual guitar riffs, and groovy rhythms, this band gives the listener something new to digest.
These are basically home recordings, but competent none the less. We are excited to be hosting these songs for free with our buds OPEN HAND RECORDS. After finishing their summer tour, this hardworking band is currently developing material for a second release in the Fall of 2009 or Winter 2010 through Community Records. Consider “Nothing Ever Changes” to be an introduction.
