Fun. These guys are certainly that. Straight forward heartfelt punk from the land of Connecticut. There’s a lot we could say about this band and the people that are / were in it, but…. I think we will leave that to them. Here’s some liner notes and such:

spring 2010 swear jar played in lots of fun places- bethlehem, philadelphia, new york city, fucking new orleans/florida mini-tour with tft/lots of friends, as we as home sweet home. if bands that never made it past two demos and a never recorded lp can be said to have a “hey-day” than this was ours. three cuts, one from old demo rerecorded, two “exclusive tracks”. For the physical copies mitch made cases our of paper bags and used an acorn stamp that he got from who knows where.

Our band is called Swear Jar. We are from New Haven, and, nearly Hartford, Connecticut. The songs that are on this cd will also be found on our forthcoming album called “Shaped By Leaving,” which is a commentary on small town life and how we as individuals are solely responsible for transforming these suburbs and cities we live in into places we can proudly call our homes. Please approach us about this subject because this is predominately discussed, when not talking about couple’s massages or Michael Jordan’s jersey numbers.
